Adnoto record deletion

If you find that you have submitted a form that contained an error this cannot be corrected, however the record(s) you submitted can and should be deleted from Adnoto so that the County Recorder can discount them. You can then submit corrected record(s) in the normal way if you wish.

At present all the records submitted together in one form submission (referred to as a "sample") will be deleted together. (It isn't yet possible to delete just one of them).

You will need the sample ID to do this. The sample ID looks like BNHS followed by 8 numbers, followed by 4 letters/numbers e.g. BNHS12345678H7LC

  • If you asked for an email at the time the form was submitted then it contains the sample ID, or
  • You can ask for a copy of all your records HERE and find the record(s) amongst these. The sample ID is in the column headed sample_id (not the column headed record_id). All records submitted together have the same sample ID

Enter the sample ID below, together with the email address associated with that sample (i.e. the one provided when the form was submitted) and its password. (The email address needs to be registered). Then press the "Review record(s)" button.

You will then be shown the record(s) and asked to confirm or to cancel their deletion.
