Bats - Bedfordshire Bat Group A BNHS Affiliated Group

The Bedfordshire Bat Group exists to protect bats within the county. It records bat distribution, surveys roost sites and takes care of injured bats.

The Bats in Beds newsletter is produced quarterly and has articles from members, updates on surveys and projects, and other bat news. An annual report is produced. Between March and October 2006 over 800 volunteer hours were spent on surveys and other events.

Found A Grounded Bat?

Please contact the Bat Conservation Trust’s 24 hour helpline on  0345 1300 228. They will contact us and we will try to help. All Bat carers are volunteers, so please do not expect an immediate response

In the meanwhile, you can get some information about grounded bats.
